The Sum of the City
What is the sum of all parts that make up the city/world?
Lately I've been experiencing a focus on textures, unevenness, misplaced objects on the street. What do these tell us about the city? Can you read solidarity in them? Indifference? Creativity? Activism? Can you see a found t-shirt hung over a pole as a temporary sculpture? Do we see the building, or the message someone sprayed on it? Do we perceive such a thing, as well or not, as the light that sweeps past us?
